The International Congress of Basic Science will be held in Beijing from July 14 to July 26, 2024. Once again, this annual event will bring together leading experts from all around to celebrate basic sciences – Mathematics, Theoretical Physics and Theoretical Computer and Information Science.

The opening and award ceremonies will be held on July 14. Subsequent event and lectures will mainly take place at the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA), situated in Huairou Science City, approximately an hour’s drive from the city center.

The program spans 13 days and will feature hundreds of lectures, satellite meetings and engaging exchange events. In its second year the conference strives to outperform its inaugural installment. Over 1000 participants, including some 400 distinguished scholars, 4 Fields Medalists and 3 Turing Medal winners, 1 Nobel laureate, and numerous academicians from China, the United States, and European nations are expected to attend.
